Jay Leno checking out the Mopars
This is the car we built on the set of Monster Garage. It's powered by two electric motors in series and fed by 340 Milwaukee 28 volt Lithium Ion power tool batteries. Although not as quick as the Hemi Superbee, it ran a mid 14 second quarter mile.
The first in a series of XRT equipped cars by Magnumforce, this one has appeared on Monster Garage to run against the Electric 62 Chevy Bel Air we built on the show.
This angle shows how much the rear end has been lowered by using our 2" dropped leafs. In spite of the larger 18" wheels, this car still sits at an aesthetically pleasing ride height. Compare it to the next images of the car with it's original 14" wheels and notice the relationship between the fender and the rim.
This can pass through the firewall to attach to the cage inside if the car is equipped with one. If not, the use of the plate shown helps diffuse the load over a larger area. These components are all available from Magnumforce pre-cut and bent.
